About Tarjimly

Tarjimly is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2017 with the mission of eliminating language barriers for refugees, immigrants, and humanitarians. We achieve this at scale through the Tarjimly mobile app which connects people in need with our community of 50,000+ volunteer translators on-demand using chat, calling, and documents.

You’ll be working with a small and dedicated global team that operates 100% remotely. We are looking for someone who is talented, mission-driven, likes to operate remotely, takes initiative and has a strong focus on quality.

About The Role

In this position you’ll play a crucial role in Tarjimly, as a bridge between our users and the Tarjimly team. This role is critical for keeping a pulse on the experience of our user base, ensuring our users have a positive experience with Tarjimly, in addition to creating partnerships to increase Tarjimly’s user base. You’ll also be in charge of improving Tarjimly’s marketing and social media, creating regular content to expand awareness about Tarjimly and keep our user base engaged.

Full-time (40 hours/week). Hours are flexible but needs to be responsive to messages & emails during EST working hours.

Mandatory Team Meetings: Tuesdays & Thursdays 11am EST (3pm GMT), twice monthly planning 11am EST (3pm GMT).
